Fairytale Fights
Briefing
For its flagship title Fairytale Fights, game developer Playlogic wanted a campaign that would make maximum use of the possibilities of social media. It was not only important to introduce the game to its target audience, but also to keep this audience involved with the title for a longer period of time.
Solution
Fortress came up with the idea to bring the recognizable characters from the game to life on the prominent social networks. The 4 protagonists from Fairytale Fights were given their own profiles with friends on Hyves, Facebook and Twitter. On these networks a viral story took place between the characters and their fans. The profiles were given extra attention through the Fairytale Fights Widget. Due to the international character of this campaign the profile pages of the characters were created in 4 languages and a total of 24 profiles were actively managed.
Result
Within 2 months more than 15.000 people became fan on Facebook, Hyves and Twitter.
