Recently, Fortress Social Branding started an influencer marketing project to increase awareness for a Glee Facebook application. The app was developed to promote the DVD release of Glee Season 2, Part 2.

Solution

Prior to the influencer project, Fortress has identified a number of bloggers as influencers.  These sites were divided into three themes: girls, movies and musicals.

Result

The influencer marketing project resulted in fun items at sites like Musical.Blog.nl and Cosmogirl. With nearly 100 comments on a Girlz article, it shows how well the influencers match the target group. Influencers like Whoopsie Daisy and Expreszo also created a buzz on social media.
