Briefing

WMB trusted on classical marketing and internet wasn’t on top of the minds of the marketing team. Warner wanted to use internet more in the marketing mix and start creating own revenue streams online. They wanted to reach more consumers through their own sites and through social media.

Solution

Fortress created an engine to host both the Dutch and Belgian consumer website. The Belgian site was created both in Dutch and French. Additionally for artist sites a special template site was created. This template site is easily modified to a new artist.

On social media Fortress created profiles for artists. Through this profiles special competitions were held like to grow the online following. Besides these efforts Fortress performed buzz and influencer marketing campaigns for many individual artists.

Result

Internet is now one off the central pillars of their marketing efforts. Through the various online profiles and sites thousands of records have been sold. Tens of thousands of customers have become fan of the online profiles and registered for the Warner Music newsletters.
