For movies The Haunting in Connecticut, Rise of the Footsoldier, Oorlogswinter and De Hel van '63, an effective buzz marketing campaign was needed to create as much online attention for either the movie release or the DVD release. An overview of online places where to find people potentially interested in the movies was also included in all campaigns.

Solution

Fortress used multiple angles to create an online buzz; often an intensive seeding campaign of videos or a widget was carried out, whilst sometimes an influencer campaign was deemed the most effective way of generating attention for the movie in question. For all of these projects, an extensive Social Hub Analysis was created for the client, giving them valuable information about where their target audiences were located.

Result

The results vary from 50.000 views in the case of a small seeding campaign, to numbers far exceeding half a million views in the case of an extensive influencer marketing campaign. In all cases, next to reach, we focused on relevance when addressing people online.
