For big blockbuster Defiance -with James Bond star Daniel Craig as leading actor- E1 Entertainment wanted to find a way to address the right target audience.
Solution
By focusing on both relevance and reach, Fortress came up with an influencer campaign which focused on approaching influential people who were specifically connected to the subject matter of the movie. Many diverse sites were involved in the campaign, including those of religious organisations and those of historical and war documentation, as well as movie sites.
Result
The identified influencers were activated by means of an exclusive premier event. The influencers then went to work with blogging, tweeting, newsletters and print media to tell their following about the great movie they had just seen.
A total number of over 100.000 people were generated during the course of the project, which also included thousands of people through offline media such as magazines. Because of relevance, the views were created specifically in the target audience, which maximized the effect of this influencer campaign.
