For up and coming artist Pixie Lott (Universal Music) we created a widget for Hyves. By combining the cool functionality of the widget with information about the artist, we managed to create an application which proved to be greatly viral.
Pixie Lott is a new singer who just scored a hit single with her song ‘What Would Your Mama Do?’ Using the existing buzz surrounding this song, we developed a widget for Hyves. In this widget, people were able to do a test to find out what kind of mother they had. Pixie Lott herself worked with us on creating this test; we filmed her while she asked the questions which were later integrated into the widget.
Of course more information about the artist was also included in the widget, as well as an option to subscribe to the newsletter, available at the end of the test.
