Finding news glasses can be a pretty hard job. With all the nice glasses out there, it can be difficult to find just the perfect pair. You have to choose between subtle or striking, neutral or colorful, with or without details etc. To make things easier, Fortress Digital Agency developed a Facebook app that highlights the beste Specsavers glasses.
Earlier, our Social Branding department carried out a Social Scan. In this document, the current situation of Specsavers and its competitors on social media was mapped. Many competitors appeared not to use social media (actively). For Specsavers a Facebook app was created to increase their social presence and community.
After 'liken' the app Specsavers fans could put a top three favorite glasses together. The app did not only increase the amount of Likes, but also increased brand awareness. The 'share' option also created a viral effect. The campaign is promoted via targeted advertising.
