To introduce Hyves-users to the great Dat Heb Ik Weer community, the digital agency built an interactive widget. This widget combines the Hyves Api's with the functions of the existing community, thus building a bridge between both groups.
The Widget was developed to promote the third book of the Dat Heb Ik Weer series of author Carry Slee. The first installment was in 2008 and the last two years three books have been released, and 150.000 books have been sold.
The community has been started by publisher Foreign Media Books to give the fans of the popular character Britt a place to communicate with eachother. Tests that are placed on the community are automatically loaded into the widget. This way, the reach of the community is spread much more and the audience of girls between 10 and 15 is also reached on Hyves, the #1 site in this group. In the widget, which is styled in line with the community, video's of Britt are shown as well.
