For the launch of the new Linkin Park (Warner Music) DVD we developed a widget which contained exclusive content users to view.
The exclusive content consisted of several videos of live performances by the band, which were to be found on the live DVD. Besides the videos, users were given the option the share the widget, which made the viral effect even greater.
“1.200.000 views”
The combination of the exclusive content and the viral aspect of the widget resulted in over 1.2 million views during the campaign. These numbers make it one of the most successful widgets on Hyves ever.
